Vinyasa Krama Yoga Practitioner & Teacher Training Course (VKYA PTTC) -

modular training including optional teacher training now being offered by a small faculty of teachers:

Vinyasa Krama Yoga (lineage from Srivatsa Ramaswami) - Asana, mudra, bandha, pranayama 72 hours over 6 weekends

Viniyoga/Yoga Therapy (lineage from Desikachar & the Mohan family) - therapeutic application 72 hours over 6 weekends

Anatomy & physiology relevant to Vinyasa Krama 24 hours over 2 weekends

Teaching module 24 hours over 2 weekends (requires attendance of the previous modules)

If not qualified in Anatomy & Physiology already, a formal qualification for Complementary Therapists should also be undertaken separately.

This will be delivered over 2 years or as agreed with a teacher, such as one-to-one.

South Devon: Norah Nelson will be offering the training starting in Autumn 2026 in Paignton, Devon. Training will be on Wednesday daytimes during term time only or with the possibility of 1 to 1 instruction to be arranged between the teacher and student.

Somerset: Liz Turner will be offering the training starting Autumn 2026 in Wells, Somerset, with weekends on 12-13 September, 3-4 October and 14-15 November. Plus January, March, April, May and June/July, with a similar pattern in the second year. More information here.
